The PR 2261 mV Transmitter is a versatile industrial millivolt to current/voltage signal converter that's ideal for precise measurement and control applications. The 2261, from PR electronics, is capable of converting bipolar mV signals from strain gauges, load cells, and other low-level transducers into standard analog outputs. Furthermore, the PR 2261 supports signal conditioning for weighing systems, level control, tensile force measurement, tank filling/draining, and general industrial automation tasks. Its front-programmable interface with a 3-digit LED display and push buttons makes calibration as well as configuration fast and intuitive.
Built for industrial environments, the 2261 accepts programmable -40 to 100 mVDC input and can output either 0-20 mA or 0-10 VDC signals to PLCs, DCS units, or data acquisition systems. A selectable NPN/PNP digital input allows external taring functions, thus helping streamline load cell applications. Optional transducer power from 5-13 VDC is available, supporting multiple parallel load cells while a sense input compensates for cable resistance to ensure signal accuracy.
- A multifunction user interface consisting of three push buttons and a 3-digit LED display for programming.
- The PR 2261 converts bipolar mV signals from transducers supplied directly by the device to standard current / voltage signals.
- The 2261 mV Transmitter is suitable for load cell application as well as other applications such as tank filling and draining, weighing with a taring function, measurement of cable tensile force, level control, signal conversion / amplification etc.
PR 2261 mV Transmitter from PR electronics
Compact yet robust, the PR 2261 offers a front error LED for quick fault identification and is compatible with standard 11-pole sockets adaptable for DIN-rail or panel mounting. Its flexible programming, reliable performance, and broad application range make the 2261 mV Transmitter an ideal choice for industrial signal conversion and process measurement systems.
- Front error LED.
- The analog input can be programmed for voltage in the range -40 to 100 mVDC.
- Users can select either NPN or PNP for the digital signal.
- Taring can either be by way of the digital input or from the front interface.
- Users can program the analog output to current in the range 0 to 20 mA as well as voltage in the range 0 to 10 VDC.
- Users can program the transducer supply to 5 to 13 VDC from the front.
- Users must ensure a maximum load of 230 mA (for example, 6 parallel 350 Ω load cells).
- Sense input (with transducer supply used) for compensation for cable resistance to the transducer.
- Mounting for a standard 11-pole socket which can adapt for DIN rail or plate use with PR’s 7023 adaptor and 7024 mounting keying.
