PR 3185 Loop Power Isolator

The PR 3185 Loop Power Isolator is a compact, high-performance signal isolator that delivers reliable galvanic isolation for industrial 4–20 mA current loops without the need for an external power supply. Ideal for process control, automation, and instrumentation systems, the 3185, from PR electronics, ensures clean, accurate signal transmission by eliminating ground loops, suppressing transients, and reducing electrical noise that can compromise sensor and controller performance.

Featuring 1:1 isolation and conversion of standard current signals, this loop power isolator boasts excellent conversion accuracy of better than 0.1% as well as a fast response time of less than 5 ms. Thus, the PR 3185 is an ideal solution for dynamic industrial applications. Its low input voltage drop and high signal-to-noise ratio (> 60 dB) enhance stability and measurement integrity across extended wiring and also high-noise environments.
