The PR 3186 2‑Wire Current Isolator / Transmitter Isolator is a high‑performance signal conditioning device that's ideal for industrial process automation and instrumentation applications. This 2‑wire transmitter and current isolator, from PR electronics, provides precise 1:1 galvanic isolation of standard 4–20 mA current loops, eliminating ground loops, noise, and transient interference to ensure accurate signal transmission to PLCs, DCS, and control systems.

• 3186A is a 1:1 output loop-powered 2-wire transmitter isolator that excites and measures passive input signals.
• 3186B is a 1:1 output loop-powered 2-wire current isolator that measures active input signals.
