The PR 6437 DIN-Rail Temperature Transmitter is a high-performance industrial signal transmitter for precise temperature and also process measurement in automation systems. The 6437 Series, from PR electronics, offers flexible sensor support including RTD, thermocouple (TC), bipolar mV, linear resistance, and potentiometer inputs. As a result, the PR 6437 delivers accurate 4-20 mA output with HART 7 communication support for advanced diagnostics, remote configuration, and data access. Its wide compatibility makes this temperature transmitter ideal for integration with PLCs, DCS, and asset management software in manufacturing, energy, chemical processing, as well as HVAC environments.

PR 6437 DIN-Rail Temperature Transmitter from PR electronics

The PR 6437 DIN-Rail temperature transmitter supports single or true dual inputs with sensor redundancy and drift detection. Thus, the 6437 Series ensures reliable measurement and improves uptime, even in critical applications. Dual input mapping options allow dynamic reporting of average, differential, minimum/maximum, and other process variables for enhancing control as well as analysis. This DIN-rail temperature transmitter features programmable damping (0-60s) and excellent signal-to-noise performance to deliver stable outputs under varying conditions.

  • True dual input transmitter, accepts the widest range of dual input combinations.
  • Sensor redundancy - output automatically switches to secondary sensor in event of primary sensor failure, thus maintaining uptime. 
  • Sensor drift detection - alerts when sensor differential exceeds user-defined limits for maintenance optimization.
  • Dynamic variable mapping for process data in addition to the primary variable, for example: dual input features such as average, differential, and minimum/maximum tracking.
  • Groundbreaking digital and analog signal accuracy over full input span as well as ambient conditions.

Able to withstand demanding industrial environments, the PR 6437 offers 2.5 kVAC galvanic isolation, complies with NAMUR NE21/NE43/NE44/NE89, and is also fully assessed to IEC 61508 SIL 2/3. As a result, the PR 6437 DIN-Rail Temperature Transmitter is suitable for safety-critical systems. With up to 84 channels per meter on DIN-rail mounts as well as configuration via HART or PR Loop Link, this transmitter combines precision, connectivity, and reliability for modern process control applications.
