The PR 9116-EMP Universal Converter is a high-performance signal conditioning device that's EMPHASIS assessed for nuclear applications. The 9116-EMP, from PR electronics, is ideal for converting and scaling a wide range of inputs including RTD, thermocouple (TC), ohm, potentiometer, mA, as well as V signals. Furthermore, this universal converter delivers precise and reliable measurement conversion for temperature, voltage, and resistance inputs. It also provides a stable supply for 2-wire transmitters with active or passive mA outputs and integrated relay outputs for flexible control applications.

  • Configuration and monitoring by way of detachable display front (PR 4500 Series) for process calibration in addition to signal and relay simulation. 
  • Advanced relay configuration, for example, setpoint, window, delay, sensor error indication, and power monitoring.
  • Copying of the configuration from one device to others of the same type via the display front.
  • TC inputs with internal CJC or external CJC for higher accuracy.
  • Active / passive mA output via the same two terminals.
