Class I Div I Explosion-Proof Pressure Sensor
Reliable explosion-proof pressure measurement starts with the sensing element. Utilizing bulk silicon piezoresistive technology, CS60 pressure sensor elements are manufactured from a single piece of stainless steel or high strength nickel alloy (such as Hastelloy C276 or Inconel 718); this combination creates a robust combination of accurate, repeatable sensing with a range of liquid and gas compatibility.
CS60 explosion-proof pressure transducers feature an all-welded, factory sealed stainless steel construction, offering a minimum IP-66 rating. A 1/2" Male NPT conduit fitting with 2 meters of 20AWG flying leads is standard, allowing for easy installation of rigid metal conduit. A wide operating temperature range and configurable design makes the CS60 a versatile pressure transducer that was engineered to operate in some the harshest conditions. The CS60 series is an excellent solution for applications such as well head pressure measurement, natural gas compressors and oil exploration.
Independent Temperature Output Signal Available
Configure your explosion-proof pressure transducer with an independent temperature output signal as well. The CS60 can be configured with a 4-20mA or voltage temperature output signal. The temperature is based on a platinum RTD temperature sensor mounted near the sensor diaphragm. Save time and money with an integrated amplified temperature output within your pressure transducer.
