PR 4511 Modbus Communication Enabler

The PR 4511 Modbus Communication Enabler is a powerful industrial interface accessory that transforms signal conditioning devices into fully network-capable instruments. The 4511, from PR electronics, is ideal for attaching easily to PR 4000 and PR 9000 series transmitters and converters. Furthermore, the PR 4511 adds Modbus RTU communication over RS-485, thus enabling remote monitoring, data logging, and digital integration across automation systems.

• The PR 4511 detachable display adds Modbus RTU RS-485 serial communications to all current and future PR 4000 and PR 9000 units. 
• The 4511 Modbus Communication Enabler converts a wide array of sensors and analog device signals from the PR 4000 series, like unipolar and bipolar mA and voltage signals, potentiometer, Lin. R, RTD, and TC, to a Modbus communication line signal.
• When mounting on a PR 9000 device, any signal coming from or going to I.S. hazardous areas, like AI, AO, DI, and DO signals, can convert to a Modbus network. 
• All individual unit operating parameters can easily and quickly configure by using Modbus communication or by using the front display menu.
