The PR 4512 Bluetooth Programming Interface is an advanced wireless interface accessory that enhances connectivity and usability for PR 4000 and PR 9000 series signal conditioning devices. The 4512, from PR electronics, is a Bluetooth-enabled signal module that allows technicians and engineers to monitor real-time process values, perform diagnostics, and program devices via smart mobile devices using the free PR Process Supervisor (PPS) app on iOS or Android.

The onboard memory can store more than 30 days of high-resolution process data at 1-second intervals, and logs can export in .csv format for advanced off-site analysis.

• The PR 4512 runs Bluetooth 4.2 and requires a smart device with 4.0 or newer. 
• PR Process Supervisor (PPS) software is compatible with iOS and Android devices. 
• The PR 4512 automatically detects the device setting on the connected PR 4000 and PR 9000 series device. 
• An internal battery energizes the 4512 real-time clock for at least 2 years, should the 4512 remain de-energized.

Easy Mounting and Programming

Ideal for rugged environments, the PR 4512 features certification for Zone 2 / Division 2 hazardous areas and supports secure Bluetooth pairing with two-factor authentication. It also allows parameters to be protected with user-defined passwords, and can be easily transferred between compatible devices. Thus, the 4512 is a flexible tool for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and remote configuration.

• The individual PR 4000 and PR 9000 series device configuration of a transmitter can save and download to subsequent transmitters.

• When mounting on devices that install upside down, a menu selection rotates the 4512 display 180˚ and also reverses the up/down button functions. 
• All data, including configuration, data log, and event log from a PR 4000 and PR 9000 device can transfer to a PC using the PR 4590.
