XLTe / XLT Series Programmable Logic Controller

The XLT programmable logic controller series features a built-in logic engine, operator interface, and networking. Logic engine features 256KB of application memory. Furthermore, XLTe models feature Ethernet connectivity built-in. Horner Automation is also excited to announce an upgraded series of HMI controllers, the XL4 Prime.

Extensive Control and Logic Features
Many of the features found in more high-end controllers are available in our XLT Series OCS controllers. The XLT Series utilizes a sunlight readable backlit touchscreen (good for dark and sunlight), physical keys for buttons, and a strong graphical user interface (GUI) to integrate the HMI into the control system.

Datalogging: massive data storage for later analysis or recall
Scheduling: easily enable period and time-based measurements/events; includes standard real time clock
Floating point and advanced math: comprehensive functions easily performs complex mathematical processing

The XLT Series offers complete control, input / output (I/O), networking, and also automation controller capabilities empowered by a streamlined design. The small, dense design of the XLT and XLTe programmable logic controllers enable you to fit more in your panel, thus saving space and resources. Furthermore, the XLT Series packs a big picture into an overall small package, utilizing a standard quarter DIN (92x92mm) cutout. In addition, Horner Automation is excited to announce an upgraded series of HMI controllers, the XL4 Prime.

The XLT Series features six unique, built-in input / output configurations (five optional models in addition to one without I/O). Furthermore, all models of this programmable logic controller include high speed counting capabilities – a truly advantageous feature for such a small package! If the built-in I/O of the XLT Series isn’t enough for your specific application, you can also expand via the Horner OCS-I/O, CAN, or Ethernet serial with the XLTe model. With billions of external input / output combinations through several additional networking media, the wide scope of digital and analog I/O make automating your applications, as well as your organization, as simple as the push of a button.

Comprehensive Connectivity

The level and scope of connectivity within the XLTe model programmable logic controller is unprecedented. Compatible with Ethernet (standard on XLTe models), CAN, USB, RS232, RS485, the XLT Series makes communicating to other systems seamless as well as easy.
