All-in-One Automation Controller: PLC, HMI, and I/O

The NX Series combines PLC logic, operator interface, I/O integration, and network communications into a single, compact unit, thus delivering cost-effective automation control with powerful capabilities. Designed for medium-to-large industrial applications, the NX Series blends reliable machine control with intuitive human interaction and comprehensive connectivity options. Each NX Series controller, from Horner Automation,  features an integrated operator interface with a high-visibility backlit monochrome LCD (available in 128×64 or 240×128 resolutions) and configurable function keys, which provides clear status feedback and dynamic screen navigation for operators. On the control side, a fast scan logic engine along with Cscape programming software supports ladder logic and IEC-61131-3 programming, enabling robust machine logic and graphic HMI design within a single environment.

NX Series Horner Automation Controller

The NX Series supports a comprehensive range of networking and I/O options, including integrated CAN (CsCAN) and dual serial ports, with optional Ethernet on select models for modern industrial connectivity. The controllers support SmartStack snap-on I/O modules and SmartStix remote I/O systems, expandable up to thousands of digital and analog points through remote networks. An onboard CompactFlash slot provides removable storage for applications, data logging, and configuration portability. With support for multiple communication protocols, downloadable PLC/drive protocols, and fieldbus integration, the NX Series serves as an ideal systems gateway. It truly bridges controllers, drives, HMIs, and remote I/O in distributed automation architectures. With reliable performance, modular expandability, and integrated operator control, the NX Series is suitable for factory automation, process monitoring, machine control, and RTU-style applications where a blend of control power and operator visualization is essential.
