EXL6 Series PLC Controller, 6" Touch Screen

The EXL6 Series PLC controller, from Horner Automation, is considered "mature" and will soon no longer be in production. We recommend considering the new XL6 Prime, or our new 7" models: the XLW Prime, the XL7 Prime, the Horner Canvas 7D, and the Canvas 7.

With fully integrated hardware and software, the EXL6 PLC controller offers easy programming, installation, development, as well as easy set-up. Furthermore, its small footprint allows these automation controllers to easily retrofit into an existing system with little effort. Many variations of distributed remote I/O, for example, SmartBlock and SmartStix, can connect via CsCAN, Ethernet, or Modbus. RTU/Modbus based SmartMod I/O is also a cost-effective means of adding a small amount of analog I/O.

The EXL6 automation controller is the first industrial product to utilize microSD Data Storage Memory, which is ideal for data logging, machine recipes, and application files.

In addition to the Cscape Advanced Ladder offering, Cscape also supports the Enhanced IEC programming languages.
